June 6-7, 2009 - Opening Weekend Celebrate with the Friends of the EBT as our trains begin operating for the summer. Special equipment may be on display or in operation and tours of our historic shops are available. A special M-3 and speeder trip will follow the last train on June 6 at 3:05 pm. Tickets for this special run are $20 and first-come, first-served basis. Author Kenneth C. Springirth will be present signing his book, "Images of Rail, East Broad Top RR"
	June 19-21, 2009 - Central PA Ragtime Festival The Iron Rail Bed & Breakfast will host the 2009 Central PA Ragtime Festival this year. On the 19th at 7:00 pm there will be silent movies in the Outreach Center in Orbisonia. Throughout the 20th and 21st, there will be free short concerts at the East Broad Top station featuring several Ragtime piano players. At 7:00 pm on the 20th these world champions will perform a concert at the Orbisonia Church of the Nazarene. Call (814)-447-3984 for tickets to the evening movie, concert, and RR tickets. The EBT will give a $1 discount on coach tickets with the purchase of a ragtime festival ticket on a one to one basis. No discount for caboose and first class.
	July 18, 2009 - Evening Fireworks Special Come along for a night train and fireworks show on the East Broad Top. At 7:30 pm an all-open-car train will depart Orbisonia Station for Colegate Grove and return. At approximately 9:15 pm the train will stop for passengers to enjoy a fireworks display courtesy of The Sandy Ridge Market. Tickets are $15 for adult and $10 for child which includes free popcorn. Snacks will also be available. Call the EBT station to reserve your tickets today. This trip is limited to 250 persons.
	August 15, 2009 - Community Appreciation Day Join the citizens of the twin boroughs of Rockhill and Orbisonia as they celebrate their annual homecoming. This is also the anniversary of the East Broad Top's reopening as a tourist railroad in 1960. Five trains run on this day, including a 6:30 pm twilight train. Tours of our historic shops and track car rides are available. Special fares apply.
	August 15-16, 2009 - Civil War Weekend Join Union and Confederate soldiers as they demonstrate various aspects of the Civil War Era throughout the weekend. The camps will be setup Friday evening through Sunday. A real cannon will be fired each hour throughout the day.
	October 9-11, 2009 - Fall Spectacular Folks gather from all around to ride trains and trolleys. All operational equipment including gas-electric car M-1, M-3, and all speeder cars make an appearance. About 26 trains will operate over the weekend while guided tours of the shops and roundhouse are conducted. This is our biggest event and everyone always leaves with a smile. The 9th will be a special Photographer's Day, details to be announced later. Special fares apply.
	October 24-25, 2009 - Closing Weekend This is your last chance to ride the East Broad Top in 2009.
